“My focus is to understand you — your story, your background, and what matters most — and to offer a space that is clear, warm, and respectful of both emotional and physical experience.”

Beginning Therapy

Starting therapy can feel like a significant step. My aim is to make the process clear and manageable from the outset.

1

Initial Contact

You can contact me by email or through the form on this site. I offer a 15-minute introductory call at no cost — a simple conversation to see whether working together feels right, with no obligation to continue.

2

The Introductory Call

You're welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. I will outline how I work and what our sessions may look like. Everyone comes to therapy with different experiences and expectations; I take that into account from the beginning.

3

Intake & Scheduling

If we decide to proceed, I will send a brief intake form and scheduling options. This allows our first session to be focused and tailored.

4

The First Session

Our first session centers on what feels most important to you. There is no pressure to disclose more than you wish. We set the pace together.

5

Ongoing Sessions

Therapy may include understanding emotional patterns, developing strategies, and exploring links between physical and emotional experiences. Some people prefer brief, goal-focused work; others choose longer-term therapy. We review and adapt the work as needed.
